A large secondary school in East Birmingham are seeking to appoint a Dance Teacher to start work after the half term break in November 2024. The post is on a term by term basis, with the potential of leading to a long-term contract for the right Dance Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach and has high expectations of learning.
The timetable will consist of delivering engaging lessons in Dance, with the possibility of covering other areas such as Music and Drama as well as taking direction from the Head of Department to positivity impact student performance.
In return, the Dance Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.
Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants need to have:
• QTS with a Performing Arts specialism
• Experience teaching up to at least KS4
• Strong classroom management
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
