Summary


The post-holders will be based in the medical education centre at a designated site and will provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the medical education team.

The Medical Education Directorate is responsible for co-ordinating and delivering on key performance indicators related to education to inform financial and service planning and the post holder will play an important role in ensuring that data and information is timely and accurate.

Enter data onto the specialised IT system.Invoice for fees and book courses as directed.

Induction data co-ordination, including report generation to support improvement programme.

Data entry and provision of accurate information to divisions

Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clinical and management staff resolving day to day problems which may arise around data

Participate in raising the profile of data collection, highlighting the need for adequate documentation, reviewing and developing procedures.

The post holder must show professionalism at all times, and will have experience in dealing with multi-disciplinary teams and outside agencies.

Act as the first point of contact for enquiries from other departments and end-users, requiring information on education. Using your knowledge of the data protection act and information governance and apply this at all times and refer enquiries to the correct departments.

To take part in other ad-hoc studies, training and mentoring as and when required. Developing new policies and protocols to ensure smooth flow of the department in relation to these studies.

Distribute regular reports and other ad-hoc reports. Create and develop reports when requested.

Implement systems improvements as required.

Conduct and analyse surveys on request of the Education management team.

Ensure e-portfolios are completed providing support where needed.
