PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR – ROTHERWAS, HEREFORD
If you are looking for a new challenge with a global market leader which designs and manufactures aerospace search and rescue equipment, HR Smith Group of Companies is the one for you. We are a family run business with over 5 decades of experience and are dedicated to finding the perfect solutions for our customers. Currently we are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to work in our Purchasing team, ensuring all Techtest Limited purchasing administration is completed to the required standard and in a cost-effective timely manner.
Role Responsibilities:
• Conduct all administration activities.
• Maintain relationships with daily interactions with existing suppliers.
• Issue consumable orders when required.
• Maintain supplier approval records.
• Obtain cost effective quotations when required.
• Process all purchase orders efficiently.
• Expedite outstanding orders.
• Keep all purchasing paperwork in order.
• Liaise with other departments as necessary.
• Processing offsite sub contract work.
• Maintain KPI records.
• Maintain inks & other stationery requirements.
Job Requirements:
Although relevant experience would prove advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. The successful candidate will require the following:
• A positive, enthusiastic approach and be able to handle a busy, multi-task enviroment with changing priorities.
• Good administration skills.
• Be computer literate including Excel.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instruction is essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.

• Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
