This is post is part of an ongoing project aimed at transferring understanding of sustainable manufacturing and Circular Economy to Developing Nations. This post focusses on a sustainable manufacturing strategy called remanufacturing. The concept of remanufacturing is poorly understood but critical to industrial sustainability for both Developed and Developing Nations. The post task is to develop an engaging, interactive online education/ training to enable the transfer of remanufacturing knowledge to Developing Nations in order to assist their sustainable industrialisation. Material that may be useful for the online class development (e.g. traditional education materials such as remanufacturing lecture ppt slides and information) are available from the post line manager, who can also provide UK-based remanufacturing companies and policy personnel that may be approached for research information and to dry run and assess the developed online education/ training. The post involves some research, teaching and marking. Initially, the post will be 3 days per week for 3 months with potential for extension at the end of this initial period.
