Job Description:

Title: Site Based -Shift Maintenance Electrician
Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £39,000 per annum (car parking facility available at the site)
4 ON 4 OFF days & nights (2 days, 2 nights) 12hr shifts 6-6

Main Duties:

  • Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
  • To be able to carry out fault diagnosis on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Respond to Building Management System alarms, escalate and effect emergency repairs as required.
  • All standard electrical maintenance, no specialist equipment listed, but site has to always be in tip top shape to run.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3.
  • 17th/18th Edition or equivalent
  • 2391 & HVAP
  • City & Guilds 236 parts 1 & 2 (or later)qualification.
  • The engineer must be formally trained in mechanical and electrical services maintenance.
  • Experience of critical environment facilities maintenance, but not limited to, UPS systems, BMS operation, emergency standby generators, testing of electrical systems, dual fed systems.
