Summary

Your new company
I am delighted to be supporting one of our clients, a manufacturing firm in HU7, recruiting a part-time administrator for their site. This role has come about due to an internal move and is a great opportunity for an experienced, customer-facing administrator to join a small, supportive team.
This role is 20 hours a week, and they are looking for someone to start in early September, which could be a great opportunity to secure a new role ready for the new academic year.

Your new role
This role is to work closely alongside a supportive team of 4 staff, and you will play an integral role in providing administrative support to the HR team as well as providing front office reception for the wider business.
Working from 8.30am-12.30pm Monday-Friday, you will deliver excellent support for the business and team, both as first point of contact for callers/visitors, and in back office administrative support.
Your varied role will include duties such as:

  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Tracking and scheduling training for the workforce, including updating HR systems.
  • Occupational Health administration.
  • Engagement in recruitment processes - adverts, scheduling interviews and sending out offer letters.
  • Updating employee records.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a confident customer-facing individual, able to answer enquiries and welcome visitors to the business on the phone and face to face. You will have strong administrative skills, particularly with Excel (knowledge of pivot tables and formulas is essential).
You will be a real team-player and willing to support others in your team during busy periods, able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
As you will be dealing with high volumes of confidential data (supporting the HR function), you must have discretion, understand and adhere to GDPR standards and be able to handle data sensitively.

What you'll get in return
20 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-12.30pm
Opportunity for overtime during holiday periods
25 days holiday + bank holidays (prorated)
Between 5%-7% of employers matched pension contributions
Employee Assistance Programme - open to family members
Supportive and established team
