Summary

Are you passionate about contributing to a significant housing development programme and have the expertise to drive successful projects? My cleient is seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing new schemes to enhance the Development Programme and lead development projects in alignment with our Group's Corporate Plan.

As a Development Project Manager, you will possess an in-depth knowledge of the development process, including budgetary control and effective communication with diverse stakeholders such as staff, customers, and partners. You will be an enthusiastic and committed team member with the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for advancing viable development schemes. Your flexible approach to work and demonstrable experience in project management across all phases of development, from inception to final account stage, including scheme administration, will be essential. Additionally, you will have a comprehensive understanding of grant funding and Homes England Affordable Homes Requirements and Regulations.

This is a permanent role based from our Hoylake site.

Responsibilities:

Effectively deliver the monthly, quarterly, and annual PI's set-in relation to schemes and the development programme.

  • Responsible for the financial appraisal of individual development schemes and effective liaison with Finance colleagues to provide appropriate financial data to present schemes for approval within the Company's scheme of delegation.
  • Lead on and be responsible for the presentation of individual development schemes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for budgetary management and delivery of individual development schemes to programme, and within agreed financial parameters, providing appropriate data.

Skills & Experience:

  • Evidence of commitment to continual professional and personal development
  • Track record in delivering development project management services which have resulted in measurable business benefits
  • Significant experience of sourcing development schemes in a large and complex organisation/function
  • Evidence of delivering good practice in business partnering models to support business needs
  • Track record in appraising new build units which achieve business goals
  • Track record of improving business processes to improve business performance, and strong project management skills
  • Evidence of operating collaboratively as one team to take collective responsibility for overall performance
  • Evidence of co-ordinating and demonstrating the importance of value for money in everyday operations
  • Demonstrates a commitment to E&D in the workplace
  • Demonstrates a commitment to H&S to ensure safe operations and environment for staff and customers
  • High levels of IT literacy and an understanding of new ways of working
