Overall Purpose of the post of Applicant Compliance Adviser:

The Admissions Office is at the heart of these ambitions, playing a key role in the achievement of the University’s objectives through the delivery of a fair and transparent admissions process that enables equitable access for those students with the potential to succeed at Oxford Brookes. The Admissions Office sits within the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment and Engagement; a confident and ambitious team of colleagues who apply professional skills and expertise to make every contact count and to make a valued contribution to the University’s objectives.

The Applicant Compliance team is responsible for providing a high quality customer focussed and efficient service in the issuing of CAS to International applicants and agents. The team plays a key role in ensuring the University’s compliance with UKVI regulations, working closely with colleagues in the Admissions Office as well as Global Recruitment & Partnerships teams and International Student Advice and Compliance Teams.

Applicant Compliance Advisers use defined processes and an in-depth understanding of entry criteria and UKVI regulations to prepare CAS for prospective International students. They provide high levels of accuracy, working to standard operating procedures and agreed turn around times. They also provide high quality personalised information and guidance to prospective students and applicants on the CAS process.


Qualifications and Experience for the post of Applicant Compliance Adviser:
We want to hear from candidates who have experience of;

● Level 3 qualified (A levels or equivalent) including an excellent standard of written and spoken English.
● Experience of delivering a high quality customer experience.
● Experience of delivering high levels of accuracy, including at periods of significant workload.
● The post holder will have excellent ability to work efficiently and accurately within a database and/or CRM system
● Knowledge and understanding of the UK and/or international applicant journey is desirable.
