Summary
The post holder must be able to:- Create page mock-ups (both flat and HTML) to be used in technical specifications. Create visually appealing and responsive web pages adhering to NHS design guidelines. Implement design concepts into Umbraco CMS. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. Optimise website performance for speed and efficiency. Debug, troubleshoot and fix front-end web issues. Test and validate web forms and interactive elements. Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems. Stay updated with the latest trends in Umbraco and web development. The post holder must be able to demonstrate :- Proven experience in developing websites using Umbraco CMS. Deep understanding of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Good understanding in C# and .NET framework, essential for Umbraco development. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React Experience with version control systems, such as Git Deep knowledge of responsive web design principles Excellent knowledge of web accessibility standards Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in version control tools, preferably Git. Understanding of best practices for site performance and optimization in Umbraco CMS. Collaborative team spirit with excellent communication abilities. A continuous learning mindset to stay up-to-date with evolving web technologies. The post holder must be familiar with Windows PC and server operating systems.
