Summary
Our Social Workers are based on-site at Basingstoke Hospital and enjoy the benefits of engaging with people face-to-face, working in partnership with Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Consultants in this fast-paced, muti-disciplinary environment.
No two cases are the same, so you’ll enjoy a diverse caseload and have the opportunity to really stretch your social work skills. Dealing with a broad spectrum of complex issues, including Mental Capacity Act assessments and safeguarding, your sound understanding of our legal obligations, will support your decision making. Our team prides itself on being a supportive environment, where people can make the most of personal development opportunities to achieve positive professional outcomes.
As a qualified and experienced Social Worker, you’ll use a strengths-based approach to make confident decisions, even where there is uncertainty. With an understanding of how our services are structured, you’ll really enjoy using a proactive problem-solving approach to achieve successful outcomes. With excellent relationship building skills, you’ll collaborate with members of the team across other locations, including Community Hospitals and short-term services.
