Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manual Turner/Lathe Operator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using hand tools and possess mechanical knowledge to operate machinery effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Utilise basic maths skills to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Operate manual lathes and other machinery to fabricate components
* Perform tooling changes and adjustments on lathes as required
* Fabricate components with precision and attention to detail
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Manual Turner or similar role within a manufacturing environment
* Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment
* Ability to read technical drawings and work independently on projects
* Attention to detail in fabrication processes
* Join our team as a Manual Turner to contribute your expertise in machining components , working on small batch and bespoke parts, within a manufacturing environment.
This role will be permanent after a probation period
