Halo is a registered charity and social enterprise running 25 sport and leisure centres throughout Herefordshire, Bridgend County Borough, Shropshire, Swindon, Gloucestershire and Merthyr Tydfil on behalf of local authority and education partners. We are a registered charity and 'not for profit' organisation, with no shareholders which means the money we make is ploughed back into the services.
This means users are helping to sustain leisure activities for everyone to enjoy – from pre and post-natal exercise classes, babies in the ‘Swim-A-Song’ sessions, specialist exercise classes for people with MS, to toddlers at Gym Tots and to 55+ group exercise classes.
Assistant Facilities Manager
Salary - circa £39,000 per annum
37 hours per week
The role will report to the Facilities Manager. The role can be based at any site within the Halo portfolio with regular travel required to all Halo sites.
Main Purpose:
Assist the Group Facilities Manager (GFM) and facilities team in ensuring our centres remain safe, compliant and sustainable whilst striving for continuous improvement.
