Crynodeb
To work closely with clinicians in order to deliver a comprehensive range of optometric services to the highest standards of quality and care. To assess, diagnose and manage the treatment of patients referred to the paediatric optometry service and other core optometry clinics where required. To act as a source of expertise on the optical management of ocular motility and vision development disorders to patients, carers, consultants and other health professionals. To participate in the delivery of highly specialist ophthalmic services that meet the changing needs of the department. To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team consisting of Ophthalmologists, an Optometrist, Orthoptists, Nurses, HCAs, Secretarial and Medical Records staff. To participate in research and clinical audit as required by DCH Ophthalmology service.
