We are actively seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the refurbishment of a large industrial shed in Kings Lynn. This 10-week programme requires a Site Manager with a strong background in roofing and M&E works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Site Manager will oversee all site operations, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
  • The Site Manager will coordinate daily activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that all work complies with quality standards and project specifications.
  • The Site Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, including site reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Manage site logistics, including the coordination of materials, deliveries, and equipment.
  • Address any issues or delays promptly, liaising with stakeholders to find effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all site personnel adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • SMSTS certification is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager in industrial refurbishment projects, particularly with roofing and M&E.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in site documentation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in enforcing them on site.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently while maintaining project momentum.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the project management team.
