Summary

Harper Adams University are looking to recruit a Building Fabric Trade Bais to Plumbing to join the Estates Maintenance Team.

The successful candidate will be involved in:
• Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance and compliance tasks, in an efficient, cost effective and safe manner.
• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs to buildings and external areas
• Installing fixtures, fittings and equipment
• Asset management
• Conducting meter readings and maintaining accurate records.

You should have:
• Robust approach to compliance with current regulations and legislation
• Ability to work within a team with a range of skills and experience.
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks.
• Enjoy a wide variety of works.
• Be willing to partake in a callout rota.
• NVQ or equivalent in an appropriate discipline or have substantial relevant experience and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• As this role requires the post holder to drive between university sites a full current driving licence is also essential for this role.

This position will play a proactive role within a critical response service, engaging with end users to deliver a first-class customer experience within a high-quality environment. You will be a committed, friendly team player who is keen to develop and progress.
