Summary

  • Hourly Rate: £11.92 p/h after successfully completing 12 weeks pay will increase to £11.96 p/h
  • Duration: 6 Month - opportunity to extend
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (38.33 hours per week)

HRGO Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced QA / Advances Checker to join our clients well established printing company. As an experienced Advances Checker, you will be responsible for ensuring good advance copies are dispatched to the customer and meeting in line customer specifications and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check the quality of all finished books.
  • Identify potential quality issues wherever possible and make repairs where possible.
  • Ensure the information supplied on the Works instruction Ticket is followed.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met so that Advance copies reach the customer on time.
  • Help to deliver any QA initiatives that may be implemented in the future.
  • To perform various duties of a shift production operative, when required.

  • Excellent accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Ability to successfully prioritise workload
  • Ability organise and schedule own time and activities, monitor progress and stay on top of own workload

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm (38.33 hours per week). It is a requirement of this position that applicants are able to work shifts, if required (6am[1]2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am). You may be required to work outside of these hours when necessary, especially in busy periods.
