Summary
About you:
You are a diligent, flexible with a passion for customer service excellence with a track record of working within the hospitality sector, you possess a keen understanding of all food and hygiene aspects of working within a café. You have experience in liaising with a diverse range of the public with strong communication and interpersonal skills
About the role:
We are recruiting for multiple positions, both full- and part-time. Please specify your preference in your application.
To provide the highest possible standards of customer care, presentation of food & beverages, hygiene & cleanliness at all times within a healthy & safe environment.
Being aware of Health & Safety issues, constantly implementing and assessing procedures, and drawing attention to any useful practices.
Working as part of a team to achieve the usage and profitability targets of the catering facilities providing innovative ideas and initiating action to increase the usage.
To prepare and serve food and beverages.
To monitor food and beverage stock levels.
To support specific events as required and undertake any duties as may be required to assist in the running of the overall facility.
To undertake any other duties which are commensurate with the role in support of Exeter’s place based brand ‘Exeter Live Better’.
About the team:
You will be joining a dedicated team at The Living Café which is situated within the flagship site St Sidwell’s Point, which is the UK’s first Passivhaus leisure centre.
