Summary

We have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Returns Assistant to join Team OB in our Warehouse here in Chessington.

This role will be 35 hours per week and the shift pattern for this role will be Sunday 6:45am-2:45pm and Monday – Thursday 2:45pm-10:45pm.

As a Return’s Assistant at OB you will be responsible for processing stock that has been returned from the stores and from customer orders through the website. You will have the responsibility of redistributing these items to the appropriate locations back into the warehouse or to our stores. In this role you will be communicating and collaborating with several departments across the business, particularly the Customer Services and Quality Control teams to ensure a smooth returns operation.

Our Warehouse and Distribution Centre is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo.

OB Returns Assistants will:

• Receive returned stock from website and store returns via courier service and Royal Mail, ensuring accuracy

• Complete all associated paperwork and system updates to ensure the stock has been processed accurately

• Work with the Customer Service team to ensure that all paperwork produced from the fulfilment returns process is accurate for refund purposes and within agreed SLAs

• Work to agreed KPIs to ensure productivity targets in all return’s tasks are achieved

• Complete the quality control procedure for damaged stock to ensure that all resalable items are accurately moved back to pick locations and damaged items are left for further processing

• Work with the Finance team to ensure that all stock moved is accurate using agreed audit trails and reporting tools, to reduce the value of stock loss

• Escalate any manufacturing issues and replacement packaging requests to suppliers

• Support the Picking and Packing team during peak and be trained in their relevant roles

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse

What we look for:

• Be comfortable working with handheld scanners and in house warehouse systems

• Experience using Excel would be beneficial

• Ability to multi task and work under pressure and to set KPIs

• Good communication skills, written and verbal

• Experience working in a team environment as well as being able to work on your own initiative

• Focus on diligence and accuracy

• Happy to work on different shift rotas

• Ability to perform the same task on a daily basis while striving to maintain a high standard at all times
