Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated person to the role of department Housekeeper within the General Outpatients and Cardiology Outpatients departments’, part of the Patient Services Care Group within NHS Humber Health Partnership.

You will work alongside the clinical and admin team to ensure that high standards are maintained to deliver a quality service with a main base at Castle Hill Hospital and also provide support to the Outpatients department at East Riding Community Hospital, Beverley

A significant aspect of the role is effective stock ordering and rotation. Ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained as well as managing an effective cleaning and maintenance regime for the environment including medical equipment used within the department. Knowledge of working in a care environment would be an advantage but not essential.

Academic qualifications are not essential but you will be expected to complete the National Care Certificate. You should possess excellent team working and communication qualities (both written and verbal) pluscompetentIT skills as most stock ordering is done electronically.

Full training and support will be provided.
