Summary
Our client, Komatsu UK, is one the world’s largest OEM manufacturers with manufacturing sites worldwide, including a large production facility in the North East. They are currently looking for an ICT System Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

About the role
As ICT System Engineer, you will be managing and maintaining the company’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and security.
Key responsibilities for the ICT System Engineer include:
• Configuring and troubleshooting network devices, servers, and storage systems.
• Implementing and managing virtualisation technologies.
• Providing technical support to internal teams.
• Insuring Security is maintained using TrendMicro DeepSecurity and Microsoft Defender.
About you
The successful ICT System Engineer will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
Other requirements include:
• Proven experience as an ICT System Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows and Linux servers.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security measures.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Nutanix.
• Knowledge of Mobile Workplace including Citrix WorkSpace, Citrix ADC/Netscaler, Microsoft SCCM.
