Summary
Introduction:
We are an experienced and established laminate manufacturing business operating in the northeast who have been competitively trading within the industry for over 30 years. Currently we are looking for a new Wood Machinist/CNC Operator to join our team in order to maximise the businesses growth and success. In order to do so, we need a dedicated, hardworking individual who is eager to expand and specialise their skill set with our help.
This role will be full time/permanent Monday to Friday with weekly working hours being 39.
Day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Preparing and operating CNC and wood machines as below.
• Working to production schedules and be able to read and work from prepared drawings and cutting lists
• Measuring, marking up and cutting materials to required dimensions.
• Conducting quality checks and reporting to senior staff.
• Provide basic maintenance on machinery
• Uphold health and safety requirements
Requirements:
• Applicants must have experience of conventional wood working machinery such as Spindle Moulders, Dimension Saws and Edge Banders. Applicants must be able to set up and operate these types of machines and be able to produce work pieces to a high standard.
• Located within a commutable distance of Hebburn, Tyne and Wear
• Capable to perform day to day responsibilities on day of employment.
