Summary
This is a training role within the national NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression programme. The post-holder will work within the North Tyneside Talking Therapies service providing high intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post holder to provide a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) service to clients with a range of complex problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by the education provider, as specified within the national low intensity curriculum and work in the service for the remaining daysof the week using their newly developed skills. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, will respect diversity, and will be committed to equal opportunities.
