Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background around advanced manufacturing technology such as 3D printers, robotics and automation, UAV’s, electronics, and mechanical systems. The ability to work independently whilst keeping the team aware and up to date.
The Technician will be responsible for asset management, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all equipment and advanced technology, ensuring they are maintained, operate safely and ready for use. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment and advanced technology.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware and software.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment is maintained and in optimal condition.
Install and configure new and existing equipment.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, reporting these to senior management.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in advanced technology and repair techniques.
Collaborate with other team members to improve performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and training to trainers and other staff.
Qualifications:
Degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong knowledge of digital manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, whilst keeping a team up to date.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
