We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to our Chief Executive (CEO) and Deputy Chief Executive (DCEO).
You will manage and deliver a professional, responsive, and flexible service that is individually tailored to the CEO and DCEO of the Council to support them to deliver our key priorities. You will also work collaboratively with the wider PA Team and Business Manager Administrative Services in supporting the Senior Leadership Team.

What you will do in this role:
Manage and maintain the CEO / DCEO schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements including ensuring they have all information needed in advance of meetings.
Coordinate and organise meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
Provide administrative support, including drafting correspondence and managing expenses.
Proactively review and respond to communications on behalf of the CEO / DCEO.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders and partners internal and external to the Council.
Manage and administer Member of Parliament (MP) and Elected Member correspondence.
Lead on projects / provide project support as required.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
Proven experience as an EA or PA in a similar organisation or environment.
Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills including experience in managing multiple complex diaries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including able to respond appropriately on behalf of senior executives.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Delivers a proactive and responsive service.
Resourceful and able to work using own initiative.
