Summary
Design service manager needed in Alconbury Ref 19308
£384-£500per day
- Must have a Lvl 6-degree civil engineering.
- Must have IEng accreditation.
- Must have at least 10yrs experience working in Highways & Transport in a design focussed role across varied highway infrastructure projects in maintenance, traffic calming and active travel.
- Must have significant demonstrable design management experience in a large public / private sector organisation.
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for site visits, as well as managing contractors delivering on behalf of others.
- Needs to have considerable experience managing and developing others in design roles, (5yrs+).
- Needs to have considerable experience using project management software, either ASTA or MS Project and computer literate across Microsoft software packages, plus expert user in AutoCAD and Civils 3D.
- Must have considerable experience managing design consultants, packages of work, contractors, NEC contracts and costs to fit within set budgets.
