Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Tiler to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring that all tiling work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them.
* Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces and corners.
* Lay tiles in a professional manner, ensuring they are evenly spaced and aligned.
* Apply grout and finish to complete the tiling work.
* Repair and replace broken or damaged tiles.
* Inspect and ensure the quality of tiling work performed.
* Work with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers to complete projects.
* Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Tiler.
* Extensive knowledge of tiling techniques and methods of installation.
* Proficient in using tiling tools and equipment.
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
* Excellent physical stamina and strength.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Relevant certification or diploma in tiling or related field is a plus.
