Summary
LECTURER – Uniformed Public Services (Hastings)
22 Hours/52.14 Weeks
Salary up to £39,808 per annum FTE. (Pro rata for part time.)
We are seeking an experienced lecturer in Uniformed Public Services to come and work within our Sport & UPS department at the Hastings campus on a full-time basis. Candidates must have experience within a chosen Public Service, a teaching qualification is ideal or be currently working towards one or willing to undertake a PGCE. Ideally candidates will have relevant qualifications related to Public Service or a degree in Criminology or something similar.
This role involves teaching 3 days a week on campus across Level 2, and Level 3 provision on BTEC in Uniformed Public Services. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years work experience in industry or be able to evidence outstanding levels of performance within their career to date. The department is committed to upholding the high standards expected of students progressing into the sector and the expectation of the successful applicant is that they will share these values and complement the team’s ambition to produce outstanding practitioners of the future.
