Summary
We are looking for 1 x Marketing Manager and 1 x Partnerships Manager who can hit the ground running as part of a high performing team in an exciting and fast paced communications environment. The Behavioural Programmes (BPU) team are behaviour change experts and deliver world renowned behaviour change programmes that help people of all ages adopt healthier habits for better physical and mental health.
Our programme of work encompasses high profile multichannel campaigns and commercial and public sector partnerships.
As a Marketing Manager you will have demonstrable experience of activating audience-tailored marketing behaviour change campaigns across a wide range of marketing disciplines including advertising, public relations (PR), social and digital.
The Partnerships Manager will support some of our high profile and exciting collaborations with partners. The role will be part of a team developing lasting relationships with organisations from a wide range of industries and sectors, creating partnerships that inspire behaviour change at scale.
Across both roles, candidates should have strong written and verbal communications skills and be able to organise their time well and work flexibly to deliver projects on time – often at pace.

These roles will help deliver our campaign programme for 2024/25. This includes:
- Delivery of innovative and impactful multi-channel marketing campaigns; taking ownership of elements of campaigns, with responsibility for delivering on time and to budget. This might include development of campaign messaging/proposition; creative and/or content; delivery of PR, partnerships and multicultural activity; as well as research and evaluation.
- Support partnership marketing activity delivering resources for partners, enabling commercial, charity and public sector partners to support our campaigns and improve public health.
- Management of day-to-day campaign budgets, ensuring value-for-money.
- Building and maintain good relationships with internal and external partners and work collaboratively with teams from across DHSC and the wider health system, including the NHS and UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to execute campaigns.
- Manage relationships with key public sector stakeholders that may include: local authorities, local supporters, schools, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the NHS.
- Use of multiple Electronic customer relationship management (e-crm) programmes as well as our online resource management tool the Campaign Resource Centre (Campaign Resource Centre (dhsc.gov.uk)).
- Ongoing liaison, briefing and management of external creative, production, partnership and media agency partners to ensure delivery of planned marketing activity on time and on budget.
- Drafting responses to parliamentary questions (PQs), Freedom of Information requests (FOIs) and general correspondence, ensuring that they are dealt with consistently, accurately and on time.
