Summary

The post holder will effectively administer the processes of performance reviews, and performance Improvement plans from initial conception and planning to implementation and subsequent monitoring, whilst ensuring best practice Performance Improvement principles and techniques are adopted. To be the visible focal point for improvement expertise within the EOC leading on improvement initiatives demonstrating a commitment to an environment of continuous improvement. Facilitating and supporting senior leads to manage performance through analysis of performance across all areas of EOC and the development of improvement plans from their inception to successful implementation, through monitoring of delivery against plans. To lead on wide ranging improvement projects within EOC connecting key stakeholders and bringing together project teams with subject matter experts to ensure delivery of the project and its key objectives. Identify issues that result in lack of compliance with KPI targets, trajectories and measures and undertake appropriate remedial action. Ensure an acceptable balance is achieved between the delivery of shorter term performance requirements and longer term sustainable system reform. To actively work with relevant staff groups within the trust to develop an environment that promotes transparency and continuous improvement and ensures sustainability. Coordinate improvement plans, advising the Planning Development and Improvement Manager and SMT members on matters relating to plan progress. Assuring the production of accurate and well-structured improvement plan documentation. Deliver updates to managers and staff on performance analysis, identification of performance issues and development of improvement plans across the trust. Regularly report on impact of performance Improvement plans to management groups and stakeholders. To be a link into the Quality Improvement Team and help embed a culture of continual learning within EOC. Analysis of complex and sensitive information on performance to identify areas for improvement. This will require triangulation of numerous measures to show and track the impact of performance improvement plans developed by the post holder.
