AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Skills & Experience
• Confident building relationships across the business and its 3rd party partners. • Able to challenge & negotiate robustly and engage positively when challenged. • Adept at producing clear and concise reporting as required and in a timely manner.• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within hospitality or heritage properties.• Relentless in the pursuit of financial efficiencies and improvements to processes • Diligent working around key compliance areas showing a genuine care for safety. • Meticulous on detail in all areas of work output across all areas of responsibility • Able to delegate effectively to team to ensure calm and composed demeanor. • Specific knowhow of working in a commercial catering venue or multi-facet F&B • Well versed in reactive problem solving across core systems, IT & EPOS • Experience of critical incident, emergency & evacuation procedures at scale • Good verbal, written, administrative & communication skills as needed. • Thorough understanding of key elements of business risk management • People-focused leader committed to team development and growth. • Food Safety Level 3 desirable qualification • Health and Safety Level 2 desirable qualification • Personal License Holder desirable qualification
Day to day oversight of key areas of the business
• Develop operational strategies to ensure seamless, planning & delivery for all F&D operations including seasonal activations and services as agreed with the F&D directors. • To take effective and efficient lead of the BOH operations, line managing warehouse operations manager and thereby the wider warehouse and goods-in team. • Acting as main point of contact on Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance for the Venue including the partners from Compass, Levy, KERB and the National Theatre. • To demonstrate proactive techniques in the management of the site EPOS System across all aspects of the platform defined by F&D directors and ensure issues followed-up. • Ensure that management and audit reports are analysed, and that appropriate action is taken to improve performance in a swift, effective & diligent manner. • Work closely with the Exec Chef and Head of Bars in the development system costing for menu lines, and procurement through nominated supply chains within purchasing portal. • To chair monthly H&S meeting with NT stakeholders and third party, producing succinct, insightful action plans to ensure all expectations are met and followed-up. • Managing the Warehouse/Logistics/Stock Control team including handling all staff matters including onboarding, training & development through to performance management. • Managing the equipment asset list regarding all repairs, servicing, and callouts, alongside budget costs and expenditure, ensuring site always receives service in line with our SLA’s
