We are seeking neonatal nurses to join us at either Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital or St Mary’s Hospital. Whether you are a QIS Neonatal Nurse or a nurses on the QIS pathway, as well as experienced Band 5’s aspiring to commence the QIS course, we want to hear from you. As we expand, adding 20% more ITU capacity and embracing the challenges of increasing neonatal care demands, we’re enhancing our Quality in Specialty Nurses team to ensure every infant receives one-to-one care. • To deliver safe, efficient, compassionate and excellent individualised nursing care for babies and their family.
• To promote Integrated family delivered care within Neonatal services
• To reduce risk and maintain patient and staff safety; take lead in investigating clinical incidents and identify ways to improve practice
• To effectively communicate with family/carers, the multidisciplinary team and agencies outside the organisation
• To supervise, support and assess learning/development of junior staff, pre-registration nursing and midwifery students, nursing associates and nursery nurses.
• To participate in research on the clinical floor
