Responsible for the maintenance of military pay and allowances in accordance with regulations as well as the Audit, for Regular and Reserve service personnel within HQ 160th (Welsh) Bde.

Monitor assignment orders and ensure personnel are taken on strength in a timely manner, ascertaining circumstances in order to allocate the correct allowances.
Recording all episodes of Separated Service and applying appropriate

temporary allowances.

Maintaining, amending and monitoring allowances issued in accordance with regulations and Joint Service Publications.
Maintaining appropriate electronic registers.

Generation and analysis of various monthly management checks and reports, cross checking information and taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure personnel details held are complete and correct.

Point of Contact (POC) for all group travel and accommodation bookings using mandated service sources. This includes all Adventurous Training, Winter Sports, Battlefield Studies and Tours.

Management of both records and personnel with regard to the following:

Leave
Competencies
Wills
Next of Kin (NOK) & Emergency Contacts (EC)
Passports
Operational Stress Management (OSM)
Personal Details/Documentation

Initiate and process applications for Honours and Awards, ensuring eligibility is met and update database as necessary.

Authorise expense claims where appropriate, ensuring eligibility and adherence to regulations. Assist Service personnel with the input of these claims.

Manage and issue eyecare vouchers ensuring stock levels are maintained and documentary records are accurate.

Responsible for the accurate processing of HQ Reserve Forces pay via PPS (Payment Processing System) in accordance with the Regulations.

Assist the Unit Briefing Officer (UBO) with administration in respect of resettlement and termination of HQ and satelitte unit personnel. Monitor and manage end to end process.
