Falkirk Council is inviting applications from talented, adaptable and enthusiastic solicitors to join our legal services team on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate for the post will provide legal services and advice with a particular emphasis on conveyancing and property law. They will also be expected to provide advice and assistance on housing law and regulatory matters such as planning and roads law.

The post holder will play a key role in achieving the Council’s vision of promoting stronger communities where inequalities are reduced and lives are improved.

The post offers excellent opportunities to combine a fulfilling and challenging role within a supportive team environment whilst gaining or expanding your experience of local government.

You are required to have a degree (LLB) and postgraduate diploma (DipLP), or equivalent. You will also be required to be entitled to practise law in Scotland.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check.
