Summary

Person Specification UK registered Medical Degree or equivalent MRCOphth/FRCOphth/FRCS Full or Specialist GMC Registration Up-to-date with current medical practice Wide training and experience in general ophthalmology Able to offer expert clinical opinion on general ophthalmology Able to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision Understanding of audit and Clinical Governance Knowledge of evidence based practice Able to work within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication skills Flexible, objective and assertive Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms with all colleagues, both clinical and non-clinical Good knowledge of and ability to use spoken and written language Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to travel independently to all hospital sites Willing to meet volume and clinical productivity targets What can we offer you?
