Summary
Randstad CPE are working with a leading FM provider who are looking for an experienced Head of SHE to join their team on a permanent basis. To be considered for this role you must have Facilities Management experience.
As Head of SHE you will lead and manage the work of the Regional SHE Managers and Regional SHE Advisers supporting the facilities management business, with a primary focus on ensuring that the team delivers a service which rigorously monitors compliance with our SHE system requirements and delivers a consistent quality of service to our businesses at a frequency consistent with the SHE risk presented within those businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake SHE related corporate governance monitoring for regional business heads
- Assist in assessing the competence of contractors
- Support local business heads in relation to SHE programmes and initiatives
- Provide a lead and focus on SHE matters
- Provide advice and guidance to personnel in relation to SHE matters
- Lead significant SHE investigations
- Help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, SHE training programmes and courses
- Conduct site inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes which incorporate
- Lead significant incident investigations within the region
- Produce written reports in relation to inspections, audits and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols
- Produce written monthly reports
What you'll need:
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the HSEQ challenges faced by multiple-site management
- In-depth knowledge of risks within the full FM cycle is essential
- NEBOSH Diploma in SH&E (or equivalent)
- Health and Safety or environmental management related degree would be desirable
- Significant exposure to the Facilities Management industry
