Our new factory unit and Fibre laser with full stock automation more than doubles our production capacity and throughput.
This is a very exciting time for the company through a period of expansion and we are looking to speak to applicants interested in joining us our production team as an experienced, talented TIG WELDER (thinner gauge sheet material).
We have a fully equipped manufacturing facility in Staplehurst, allowing us to provide our customers with the very highest levels of service and quality.
All of our manufacturing processes, including heat treatment, are integrated in our production plant.
As our TIG Welder you will assume responsibility for:
- Welding sheet metal of gauges 1mm-5mm (majority between 1.2mm - 1.5mm), to fine tolerances. Materials being welded are Mu-metal, stainless steel & sometimes aluminium
- You will be expected to utilise your skills in creating bespoke metal products for the customer in accordance with their order
- An ability to work to a high standard and a high level of accuracy to create a clean finish will be a must from the successful candidate
Essential Skills:
- You must be able to read and work from engineering drawings, be a team player and be able to work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of other fine limit sheet metal work would be an advantage but is not essential
- You will be expected to utilise your skills in creating bespoke metal products for the customer in accordance with their order
- An ability to work to a high standard and a high level of accuracy to create a clean finish will be a must from the successful candidate
- Working with a combination of fabricated and machined components
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in TIG Welding
- Experience of working within an ISO:9001 quality system desirable but not essential
