Summary
As with Care staff Managers are allocated service users in a geographical area so they have the local area knowledge when allocating staff. Each Care Manager has a coordinator assigned to them. They work closely together to ensure each person has a good knowledge of the services in their area. This means that should the Care Manager go sick or on annual leave, the coordinator can oversee the services effectively as they will already know the service users and staff in that area and will also have the necessary training to carry out these duties. Coordinators have also been trained alongside Care Managers for Heron Care’s emergency on-call. This allows us to have an extensive qualified team to carry out this service without any disruption. All Team Coordinators will be provided with company mobile phone Uniform work email address and training .
