Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers for temp-to-perm positions at the Morrisons Warehouse in Bridgwater (TA6 4AT). This is a temp to permanent full-time role with an annual wage of £41,500. Start times between 4am-6am, with a 10% premium for weekend work.
Role Overview:
As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a crucial role in the daily transport and delivery operations, ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of goods. Responsibilities include:
Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
Performing vehicle checks and maintaining compliance with safety standards
Loading and unloading goods
Ensuring accurate delivery documentation
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and qualifications, although we encourage all interested applicants to apply:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license
Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver in a logistics or distribution environment
Knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing at the interview stage
Excellent communication and organizational skills
