Your Role at a Glance:

Holistic Care: Provide day-to-day support to young people, assisting them in activities, education, and attending statutory meetings.
Team Leadership: Lead shifts, supervise care staff, and ensure a consistent therapeutic approach is maintained across all teams.
Operational Excellence: Uphold high standards within the home, including overseeing daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and safeguarding residents' welfare.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with educational and multi-disciplinary teams, external providers, and partner organizations to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the therapeutic approach is applied consistently and effectively.
• Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service.
• Supervise and guide care staff, setting a positive example.
• Maintain the home to a high standard, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage shifts, ensuring smooth and safe operations at all times.

What You Bring:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent relevant residential experience.
Experience: Proven experience working with young people aged 12 to 17 with challenging behaviors, including experience in shift leading and supervising care staff.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people, including the effects of abuse and depression.
Requirements: A valid driving license is essential.
