The business continues to develop in all areas, and we have recently been successful in securing further contract work within Gloucestershire (Installation, Service and Repair of Ceiling Track Hoists.)
About the role
We are offering a new Ceiling Track Hoist Installation Engineer the opportunity to be based in Gloucestershire, in a rewarding role, as part of our committed team. The role will involve installing ceiling track hoist systems (single track, room covering, free standing gantry) in a variety of settings across the community. This will include service users’ homes, schools, nursing homes and in house in the company workshop. You will be well supported, and training and development opportunities will be ongoing. There will be some flexibility required to support with servicing, maintenance and repair jobs, as and when needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Installation of ceiling track hoist systems according to specifications and industry standards, across a variety of sites
• Load testing of hoisting equipment, which will involve some lifting
• Supporting with repairs, servicing and maintenance, as required
• Working in line with company values, providing a person-centred service
• Completing risk assessments and electronic reports
• Liaising closely with management and other team members
• Effective, professional interaction with service users and members of the community
• Participation in on call rota, covering out of hours call outs (evenings/weekends.)
We are looking for
• Installation experience within the field (Essential)
• An electro-mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• A work ethic and values which closely match those of the company
• A flexible approach, together with a willingness to share experience and to learn
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Applicants based in Gloucestershire – we are looking to recruit a locally based candidate.
To undertake the work, you will need to hold a full UK driving license and should also be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check which will be organised by the company.
