Summary
Job Description
Duties include the management, motivation and development of a team that operates and maintains Glasgow’s Street Lighting Assets
The post holder will;
• Assist the Assistant Group Manager with all matters relating to service delivery and Asset Management
• To design, monitor, supervise and administrate all lighting installation works
• To assist in the management / development of the city’s lighting infrastructure
• To co-ordinate and collate lighting performance statistics and condition data
• The flexibility to cover other lighting projects to transform Glasgow City Council’s street lighting to assist in developing a safe, resilient energy efficient lighting network.
• Provide technical advice
• Provide reports for management when required
• Be able to work together with colleagues and partners, internal and external to the Council, to give excellent customer service
• Any other duties appropriate to the post and in line with the needs of the Service.
