Our client is a leading provider of cold storage and refrigeration solutions for retail environments. We specialise in refurbishing refrigerated cabinets, freezer cabinets, and cold rooms to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Their projects range from convenience stores to Supermarkets.
In this role, you will help with the refrigeration design, selections, quotes and technical information required for both internally and externally with clients, as well as running projects from start to finish.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Be conversant with refrigeration selection programs such as Microcalc, Micropipe, Hot Chilli, Mistral.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCad 2D and 3D, Inventor, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Be able to create program of works
What will your role look like?
• Client Interaction: Conduct site visits, surveys, and meet with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Understand drawings, layouts and tender documents.
• Carry out initial design for the refrigeration duty required.
• Contact suppliers with the refrigeration requirements for best selections for energy and cost
• Preparing quotations and specifications.
• Project Management: Manage projects from concept and detailed design through to installation and commissioning support.
• Specifications & Reports: Write detailed system specifications and components, prepare test procedures, and compile technical reports.
• Innovation: Identify new products or technologies that give a market edge and propose alternative design philosophies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
• Technical Reviews: Provide technical review of OEM designs to ensure compliance with client requirements before manufacture
