As the Skills Bootcamp Manager you will play a crucial role in driving the success of these programmes in line with our company's mission. You will forge strategic partnerships, manage a team of trainers, employer relationship managers, and administrators, and ensure that the learner journey meets Ofsted EIF requirements and adheres to the DFE/GLA bootcamp quality framework. You will also promote our safeguarding principles across the team.
Your impact
- Contract Performance: Develop positive relationships with funders and stakeholders, maintain knowledge of funding rules, and set strategic plans to meet contract values and KPIs.
- Curriculum Development: Expand the portfolio of courses, gain approval for new qualifications, and participate in strategic curriculum development activities.
- Curriculum Management: Oversee performance levels, manage liaisons with awarding organisations and EQAs, and ensure staff are approved to deliver relevant qualifications.
- Line Management: Set SMART targets for team members, conduct monthly reviews, address performance issues, and promote team development.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain continuous improvement plans, produce annual self-assessment reports, share best practices, and monitor delivery quality.
- Collaboration: Work efficiently with internal teams, including finance, marketing, HR, and operations.
Who we seek
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree level or equivalent preferred.
- Strong experience in building and sustaining external stakeholder relationships at a senior level over a number of successful years.
- Experience in identifying and supporting business growth opportunities.
Skills and Attributes:
- Industry Knowledge: Understand the FE & skills landscape, particularly Skills Bootcamps, and have knowledge of the GLA area.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, adept at presenting to teams and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Build and nurture relationships, listen and respond to feedback.
- Leadership and Management: Lead a team to achieve contract KPIs and manage a diverse team.
- Strategic Thinking: Align activities with organisational goals and proactively solve problems.
- Collaboration: Work efficiently with internal and external teams.
- Independence and Initiative: Manage multiple priorities and show initiative in delivering contract KPIs.
- Professional Integrity: Honest, dependable, and trustworthy.
