Job Purpose
I am a young lady with complex care needs, living in my own home in Swadlincote. I am looking to recruit a team of live in carer’s to support me on a 2 week on / 2 week off rota. I am hypersensitive to smells (E.g. perfumes, washing detergent, smoke etc), these impact my health significantly and therefore it is important not to use these in my home, alternative products will be provided. Inside my home I can shuffle short distances and have a rollator to aid me and have a power chair for outside of the home, I have a wheelchair adapted vehicle you will be required to drive.
The right candidate will complete a minimum of two week’s shadowing a senior PA before working on their own and must be willing to undertake relevant training.
I enjoy watching TV and reading online books, I have a keen interest in wolves, dragons and skulls. When I am feeling well enough, I enjoy crafts e.g. making cards and visiting craft fairs, eventually I would love to be able to make and sell my own crafts. I am looking for a team of PA’s who can support me to live as independently as possible and help me achieve my goals.
