Summary

We are looking for someone who will join our team who is :
1) An individual who is hardworking throughout the day.
2) A Determined worker to complete all tasks carefully and effectively.
3) An individual who is willing to learn in all areas of the work.
4) An individual who is confident in their own ability.
Your duties will include:
1) Picking Runs: Everyday pick lists are printed out for what is needed to be loaded on the vans when the drivers are back from there runs. Items are to be picked from stock with the correct code to the pick sheet and put into a bay with the rest of the Items.
2) Loading Vehicles: When drivers are back from their runs for the day if printed off, a run will be loaded carefully and efficiently onto the van ready for the next day.
3) Stock Moves: When needed stock is to be moved to make room for new items coming in on deliveries big or small. Also, when items are pick from stock and space is made isles will need to be condensed down to create room as well.
4) Stock Checks: When needed stock checks will be printed off to make sure that the stock in the warehouse replicates the amount of stock on the system.
5) Returns: When drivers bring back return items, Once checked by upstairs, they will need to be moved back to the relevant place in the warehouse depending on the condition they are in.
6) Unloading Deliveries: Each day deliveries come in with items that are needed to be checked in correctly. This means codes will need to be checked to the paperwork to make sure what is coming in is correct and then once checked in these deliveries will need to be put away.
7) General Tidying: When the warehouse is untidy, it will need sweeping and cleaned to make sure the workspace is clean for everyone.
8) Labelling Items: When needed things like upstands, worktops and items will need to be labelled
Working Week: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8-5 with one hour lunch
Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley
College or your place of work. Student to complete Warehouse Supply Chain Operative.
