Summary
Apprentice Teaching Assistant required for a Church of England First School in Frome. If you are keen to support children to grow and learn this will be an excellent way to start your career. What will the apprentice be doing?
- Prepare classroom as directed by the teacher
- Support children and young people to be able to access all areas of the curriculum
as directed by teacher/SENCO
- Supervise and support children and young people ensuring their safety
- Be aware of and comply with safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality and data
protection policies and procedures
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills in English and maths Level 2 if required
- End Point Assessment: Practical workplace observation; Q&A session; Professional
