Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established family run engineering company based in LS12.
We are seeking a dedicated and focused worker to join our small and friendly team to assist with the production of machined parts, both Turned and Milled, on a CNC Lathe or Milling Machine.
Experience in an engineering environment is preferred but full training will be given.
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be a critical part of the manufacturing process, responsible for producing high-quality, precision components.
Your Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:
• Loading and operating CNC Machinery
• Inspection of milled and turned parts
• Ensure product specifications and quality standards are consistently met
• Maintaining product traceability and compliance to the required standards
• Highlighting any issues to your team leader in a timely manner
• Other general shop floor duties
The successful candidate will have:
• CNC Experience and/or experience in an engineering environment preferred
• Ability to thrive in a busy production environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to use own initiative and work well independently
• Good communication skills
Pay rate to start at £12.00 per hour.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday- 8:00am- 5:00pm
Fridays- 8:00am- 1:00pm.
Candidates will be hired on a Temp-to-Perm basis.
