About the role…
Join our team as Customer Delivery Recovery Lead and lead a small team of people responsible for making sure our customers get their vehicles delivered on time or as close to the date they wanted as possible where that is not feasible.
This site based team will be the masters of recovering customer deliveries which the standard process cannot deliver through the normal channels, and owning customer vehicles which have not made the delivery date originally selected by the customer making sure they arrive as soon as possible and are expedited through the process.
Responsibilities…
Lead a small team of Customer Delivery Recovery Coordinators to make sure customers get their cars on time when the normal process has failed
Own the local-site process and relationships with other site departments to ensure that customer vehicles at risk of not being delivered on time are, or where that fails, owning the problem until it is resolved and the customer receives their vehicle
Provide timely, accurate and trustworthy information to the cinch CX team to manage the customer expectations and redelivery information when a delivery has failed or will be late, focussing on the speed to resolution
Work closely with the regular logistics function to make use of standard delivery options when they exist to get cars to customers as soon as possible
Own the real time information passed to the logistics function to allow them to accurately and efficiently plan the vehicles which will be ready on time, whilst focussing your team’s efforts on the vehicles which fall outside of this process
Keep internal stakeholders up-to-date on progress and objective completion
Who you are….
3+ years of experience in leading a team
Strong interpersonal and crisis management skills
Good knowledge of vehicles
Competent IT user including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of white-glove delivery
Knowledge of supply-chain planning tools
