Summary
Job Summary
Ramgarhia Board Leeds intend to appoint a new Priest/Giani. We are committed to paying the National Minimum Wage and are willing to provide a Contract of Employment for 30+ hours per week.
Responsibilities and Duties
The main details and duties of the role are as follows:
• Officiating marriages, birth and funerals
• Duties include reading of the Sri Guru Granth Shib Ji, conducting Daily/weekly Diwans, preach Sikh Religion to congregation
• The Sikh Holy Parkash Guru Granth Sahib i.e Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer
• To be responsible to ensure the daily religious activities are in line with the Sikh religion
• Require leading daily worship
• Must pay the highest respect to the Guru Maharaj ji as well as public (Guru Ki Sadh Sangat) is essential;
• Undertake any other reasonable duties/activities in pursuing the Organization’s religious programs.
• On occasions the candidate maybe required to carry out prayers for family functions at the homes of the devotees
• Benefits include full board and lodges
