Summary
Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Site Facility Officer to join our Site Team, you will be working under the guidance of our Site Manager along with our Groundsperson.
Our school is a grand building that was originally built as a country house, which then became hotel. The building has been used as a school since 1900 but was a reserve convalescent home for officers in World War 1.
Our Site Team ensure our wonderful school building and grounds are a safe and secure place for pupils to learn and for staff to work.
Key Experience & Skills
- IOSH Managing Safely (or willing to complete)
- Basic Health & Safety Certificate
- Qualified Trade/Craft (Desirable but not essential)
- Experience working in a similar role
- Able to carry out basic repairs and maintenance
- Experience in health & safety, managing policies, procedures & risk assessments
You will be:
- Able to use initiative and manage time effectively
- IT literate
- Committed to working as a team with all staff
- Able to establish professional, effective working relationships with a range of partners/colleagues and children / young people
